I was noticing they give you a nice engine to look at, but no way to look at it.
Did anybody have any ideas on how to open up the hood area so you could view the engine.
I guess it would be quite an under taking to do the whole inside engine compartment.
Everything else is flush, the hood side vents on the outside, are just flush on the inside, so that probably would be a show stopper there, unless somebody has a good idea on how to do that to.

Any ideas would be appreciated

Kerry it is possible to do this and it is exactly how I open the bonnets (hood) on my GMC's to show the motor.

You need to know how the hood works first so you know where to cut. Then away you go with a sharp hobby knife to open her up. fine brass or copper wire can be used tof orm the piano type hinges these hoods had.
