I got this tonight from the commander of the 401st GIR which is based here in Wisconsin. I'm planning on attending this show for additional photos for this site (and also a Civil War re-enactment on Aug. 14).

The next time the men of the 1st Btn, 401st Glider Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division (WWIIHRS, Re-enacted) will take the field will be the weekend of 21 and 22 August, 2004, in Iola, Wisconsin (just east of Stevens Point).
The focus of the event will be the encampment, the large collection of military vehicles, and one of the biggest miltaria flea markets I've ever been to. ("Come for the battle, stay for the shopping") There is a small public battle, but the event is really more about interacting with the public and finding great deals on that item you've been saving for.
If you are interested in getting photos of the men, uniforms, equipment, and vehicles of the period, both allied and axis, or are a collector of militaria, or have shown interest in "joining up" and taking the field yourself, we look forward to seeing you there.
