It just makes good sense to keep an M1 Garand nearby.

What's the manufacture?
I have a 1950s Italian parts gun with a bunch of Baretta parts and I think a 1944 US Trigger group and a Dutch barrell.

Great shooter, and when you put it next to a K98 it's no wonder we won the war.

Mine's a Springfield with a 1953 barrel. I'll post my M1 Carbine some time.

Very nice Garand!

Did you happen to see all the pics from Haiti of the rebels armed wth Garands and Thompsons? Tons of them down there.

Fine weapon Cody.

Are you using it as a shooter or keeping it as is for display?

If you get a chance, can you take a few more pics? I would love to see some closer shots of the action, sights, etc.

Thanks.

I used many of them but the best was it the GARAND N1 7.62 TIDY SOME WHAT NOISY BUT WITH THAT CAN BE SURE THAT THE 8 BULLET IN THE PACK COULD GO STRIGHT ON THE TARGET , I SUDE THE VERSION WITH THE BINOCULR TO ,IT BECA,ME MANUAL FROM SEMIAUTOMATIC , AS ONE REAL SNAIPER NEED
IF IN BEYRUT THE GUARD HAD THE GARAND 348 MARINES IN SIDE THE AMERICAN EMBASSY WILL BE ALIVE NOW, THE 5,56 COULDEN'T BLOW UP THE TYRE OF THE SUICIDE TRUCK , AND AFTER THE EXPLOSION AND MANY SODIER LOST LIFE THE HQ AGREE TO GIVE THE GARAND AT THE GGUARD
I WAS THERE IN BEYRUTWITH THE ITALIAN CONTINGENT AND I SEEN THE EMBASSY BLOW UP
