Well howdy folks?

As promised, here are some pics of me on my last day in Dallas. I left shortly that evening. Don't I look like a dork.

I was there so that my boss can go and have fun leaving me to deal with the sales reps from this Texas company to tie up our orders.

She is a pretty lady. Funny thing. The immigration folks thought at first I was Hispanic so they kept talking to me in Espanol. Luckily I know some Spanish and answered them. Then it got ugly because their Spanish was very fast with some Mexican slang or something.

I went to Hobby Maker down at Bedford. Again they thought I was Mexican. I got some AFV Club kits and Tamiya and Hat figures. Also some academy kits. Then I went to Hobby Lobby. I was surprised to see that they were selling mostly girly art stuff. I bought a couple of stuff there too.

Had a great time and good steaks at Risckys. For a person who doesnt eat beef I quite enjoyed it. And of course Italian food at Maggianos at Dillards Mall. They have very good Panacota's over there. I'm very surprised at how polite Americans are. I certainly did not feel that very much in Europe.

I'll be back for an FMI fair at Chicago next year by March. Looking forward to it.

The Stock Yards in Ft. Worth. Did you go to Billy Bobs?
Good to here you went to Hobby Maker. How did they treat you? Did you get to meet Arron? Mike and Jeanie(the owners) are the nicest people in the world. Istill consider them my second family.

I met Jeanni, She was the one who asked when I was going back to Mexico. The black dude and I forgot the name of the one with the glasses. The "afro-american" guy was kind enough to give me an 2003 italeri catalogue. I went to that place twice. It was sad though that when I handed out the hundred dollar bill that he said it was the first time he'd seen it in a couple of weeks. Business may be slow. I spent around two hundred bucks over there

They were really nice people. As I've said before very polite too.

Hi there Mondo. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to the lone star state. Yup, we Filipinos are sometimes mistaken in the Estados Unidos as Hispanics 'coz we closely resemble Mexicans. I haven't been to Texas yet but hopefully I will in the future.
Chicago in March next year huh? Well be sure to wrap yourself good 'coz it would still be very cold in the windy city by then.
