If people are seriously injured call 999 immediately

You guys have got to love this! Dial 999 and this is “Preparing for Emergencies” wow helpful aren’t they, Oops sorry sir the emergency services are busy please try again later. Now what?

I like the alternate:

If people are seriously injured call 999 immediately, even though if it's a terrorist attack you probably won't be able to get through anyway.

What’s next on the checklist?

Shouldn’t they be giving useful advice such as “If a bomb has exploded / gone off, calmly get non-injured people away in case there is a second device.”

Ignorance in an emergency will kill / injure more people than the device did. When is the government of the day going to learn to educate the people, instead of treating them like sheep.

Quoted Text

“Do not wait until a fire occurs to think about it. Act now. Nearly all fires are preventable. You can get further practical, easy to follow advice on preventing fires and protecting your home from your local fire station.”

Gee put an online site up about “Preparing for Emergencies” and then refer us to the local fire station.
