Doom 3 is finally gong to be released. Ships August 3rd. I remember buying the first one and thinking how the graphics an AI could "never get any better than this." I know, showing my age. Anyway, there is a cool trailer at the link below. If you are at work, turn your speakers down before you click...

I would love to find the DOOM games that don't require DOS to run My computer would require a significant upgrade to play this

Been a while but I finally picked the game up. Sells for between 50 and 60 bucks. Worth every penny. Really creepy and really dark. Best graphics I have ever seen and I have been gaming for a while. Not going to post any spoilers but the flashlight will be your best friend.
Highly reccomened for all you FPS fans out there.

I have almost completed the game havent played for a week though. I tell you when you get to he||, hard doesnt describe it expecialy the boss ( i couldnt beat him so it was time for cheats, console down god and weapon_give bfg and it still took me 20 min to kill it). And that thing in the pic above gota hate them. Imps are the worst the scare the [auto-censored] outa you when the jump outa the dark.

Edit: I wouldnt recommend playing it in the dark with a headset if you dont want to soil your self

Reminded me of Halflife as far as the story line goes.
