I like to include a representative piece of appropriate insignia with a model's display. This T-34 received the traditional Russian insignia frequently seen on turrets. Some years ago I found three of these badges in a local antique store which works out rather well as I have more Soviet projects in the wings.

I'll also use current stuff I can find at surplus stores. Doesn't add as much to the model, but it looks good.
