Ok, I know Hollywood usually sacrifices historical accuracy for cinematography. However, in a feature film like Black Hawk down, shouldn't the accuracy be top priority? I understand that most things in the movie were as close to being there as a civilian can get. But what I want to know is, what are the flaws?
My bro-in-law was in the 3rd Ranger Bat. Consequently he knew some of the guys who were in Somalia at that time. He saw Black Hawk down and became some what angered. I wasn't able to get out of him the whole story, but he did mention something about how the 10th Mtn. Div. wouldn't have been sent in to help the men in Mog. But how could something so pivotal in this movie "documentary" be so wrong. What is everyone's imput?
