OK. I know this is a military modeling site, but there may be someone here who can answer this.
My late father worked for the Pennsylvania DOT and in the winter rode shotgun on snowplows. Yesterday I picked up the AMT ERTL Ford Snow Plow kit. It is the right year range, and I want to build it as it might have looked if Dad rode in it. The problem is, I'm in North Dakota. This limits my research to the net.
Does anyone know where I can find pics of these trucks ?
Is there a scource for decals for this project ?
Thanks.

I'm not a truck person, but this is a Ford LTN tri-axle. There is no year on the box or in the instructions. However, I was told the truck is mid-70's. Also, in the History part of the instruction sheet it says: "The L-line was started in 1970.....and after 15 years is still a bast seller. "
So, I'm assuming this is a re-pop of a kit first released in 1986.
