A 1/16th M-203 is included in this set..

(This weapons set costs as much as the Tamiya figure....)
But you'll have to scratch the 40MM grenade pouches on the MOLLE vest unless you can find a few from the Airborne Minitaures USMC Recon in Afghanistan (and you'll need to track the company down in Poland to do that)

I haven't done it in 1:16 Scott but I have done it for 1:35. I've replaced the attached M203 with aluminium foil after cutting off the original coz it was just a solid piece and also because I like to go blind making small things.
I just cut the smooth portion out and left the corrugated section alone. The foil I used was for cooking but I guess you will have to use a slightly thicker gauge for 1:16. You could try using the foil used in aluminium trays used for BBQ/cake-making as these are thicker.
Wrap the cut foil around a suitable diameter cylinder (i.e. paintbrush end) and stick the joining ends . The corrugated portion will be trickier. The only thing I can think off for a mold would be those drinking straws with the corrugated flexi-joint. You may even use those straws instead for the whole M203 if their the right dimensions.
Thinking of straws has made me thirsty. Good luckC[ ]

The straw bit sounds like a good idea. I have the rest covered.
