Hi all

Last night I placed an order with Hometown hobbies.com. This is my first time ordering from this company, and I was wondering if anyone here has ever ordered from them.
If you have, what type of experience did you have ? How long do they normally take ? Were the orders complete ? etc
They have a great selection of detial items. the prices were pretty good. I was just wondering what you guys thought of them.

Harry, I have dealt with Hometown Hobbies on several occasions. Bill Wolfe is top-notch! Great customer service, fast shipping, and usually good prices. I don't think you will have any regrets!

I too have had very good experience dealing with Hometown Hobbies. They were quick to ship, and I don't remember having any problems with in-stock issues. I think you will be very pleased.

Sorry about responding slow, but it would be difficult to find another webstore to order from. As already stated, Bill Wolfe is just a great guy. He has excellent customer service, great prices, and is fast to get your order out.

Just to give you an example of the way he does things, not long agao I ordered the Aber fender set for the Polish 7TP kit. He didn't have it in stock, so after a few days when I called in to check on the status of my order, he informed me he didn't have it in stock, but would take care of it. Two days later I received my package from Hometown Hobbies. Inside was not the fender set, but the entire detail set for the 7TP! This set costs almost twice that of the fender set, but Bill sent it to me so that I could get what I wanted. At no extra charge mind you!

So buy with confidence. Hometown Hobbies is on my top three list of who to by from (along with R&J Enterprises and Mission Models).

HTH

Dave
