Hi Guys
For some reason(probably my fault) the clock on the top of each page is reading 12 hours ahead,it's now 2253 hrs on the 8/7/2004 here but the clock reads 1049am 9/7/2004.Has anyone any ideas where I'm going wrong?
TIA

For me it is 11 hours ahead... It is 23:59 here in Poland, but the clock shows 10:59 AM tomorrow.

EDIT: To make things more interesting I see my post marked as sent at 10:00 PM... That is two hours behind actual time in my time zone.

Actually it is 12 hours ahead of GMT. GMT is 11:04 PM, July 8th now, but the clock shows 11:04 AM, July 9th.

Now I'm even more confused

.I've changed my time setting to GMT and now the clock reads "JUL 09,2004-10:10 am" 11 hours ahead.
I've checked the clock on the pc I'm using and that's correct.

You're right, my clock is about 1 hour behind, and a day ahead. Checked my computer clock, it's right, check my account settings, they're right ...... ?????
Good thing I'm not using the sites clock for going to work, I'd be an hour early tomorrow....... LOL

Well... IF you set your time offset in your member area to the correct (and I mean the right setting to account for daylight savings time) then you should be seeing the right time displayed. The day ahead thing is what has me baffled. The server time is set properly and shows the correct day. I am not sure why this suddenly started to mis-read the date and time.

Maybe I should just ditch the member date/time and display a world GMT time?

Well, you probably should do it. Particularly that Armorama is MILITARY modeling website. Just call it in proper fashion as ZULU time, not GMT :-)

Time calculations always confuse people, or get over looked, I agree just set the site clock to ZULU time.

I think we actually should not complain. After all it is as close to the time travel as we can get. Now we know how Armorama would look like tomorrow :-) :-) :-)

I agree if you really need to know what time it is where you are, try looking at your watch. Other than that how important is it when a post came in, is anyone out there monitoring how long it took for someone to respond?
