I'm currently using the Kawasaki compressor. 4k sya at 25-30 psi. Ok naman sya with my Badger 175.

Hmmm... kung sakaling may nadatnan ka na mga nagpapalobo ng mga balloons (yung maliit a, siguro mga isang dangkal squared), that's it. Kasya yan sa AB mo (basta kunin mo yung may kumpletong heads and connectors).

Just a suggestion: if you have the cash try going for the industrial type of about maybe 100+ psi with the air reciever tank & air regulator. Even if this type is a bit noisy you could always buy a longer airhose & put it outside like in a terrace or veranda of your work place when using it. The advantage of using this type of A/C is that it saves you electricity since the motor shuts off once the max pressure is reached compared to a tankless one where the motor keeps running until you manually shut it off & of course you have a wide range of pressure to choose from. I actually have two type:

this is the Testor's mini blue which is an oil less reciprocating type of A/C. I use this for small painting jobs, which is what I mostly do. It has no air reciever but it is less noisy than an industrial type one.
This is my other A/C. This is also a recip type of A/C but with a 1 gal. capacity air tank. I use this for heavy jobs, like spraying on the non-skid surface on my M1A1 tank, which required about 40 psi. This A/C is a bit noisy which is not advisable for indoor use but this has a lot of uses besides airbrushing. I use a Badger Crecendo 175.
I hope this helps you in finding a good air compressor.

Oo nga pala! Don't use the Kawasaki compressor for extended period of time! Or else prepare to get your hand burned by the heat
Try letting it cool after every 5-15 mins of action.buck

Ganda ng mga rig mo, Alex!
Im currently using a Thomas copy compressor. Fixed ang psi but its relatively cheap (at around P3k, I think) and works well din.

Anong psi rating?? Akin kasi 25-30 psi. Would it be good for soft camo especially for 1/72 and smaller?

Yep, tama si Shonen... they can be found in almost all ACE Hardware branches. Meron din ako nakita sa Federal Hardware in ATC.
Got mine for 3.7K sa ACE festi.
When I bought my compressor it came packaged in a gray box na may white styrofoam. Nung napansin kong tumatakbo (literally) yung compressor ko when operating e pinatong ko siya sa white packaging styrofoam which came with the box.... and voila! :-) shonen_red

Bwahaha.... let's hear Jeep's story. He's using the same.

Thanks Buck. I'm actually in a hiatus from the hobby so this stuff would be gathering dust for a while. I haven't even finished my entry for a campaign here which I started a while back. Been pretty occupied with a number of outdoor activities lately. Like that slogan goes 'never stop exploring'.
Hopefully I could get back on track by the time fall sets in.

Give yourself a break from your routine before you suffer a burnout. Get some exercise! Go out & hit the trail or something. Which reminds me .... we got some itinerary coming up again...

I've always wanted to own the Testors "Blue Ice" compressor as it really looks cool! It sells for about $80.00 at Squadron. Only problem is how to bring it home. Nice set-up Alex!

La lang. Clear blue housing, nice design. Reminds me of a respirator we use on patients with decreased lung functions.

Thanks Bull. Yup, I got mine from Suadron.
SR: Well it's compact & less noisy compared to the larger Industrial type A/C.

Tamiya Sprayworks basic AB set. 17 psi yata yung buga. Tamang-tama para sa complex cammo jobs.
