Check the link for a my in-progress of a Turkish Janissary. For those who don't know. Janissaries are Christian children/young men who were kidnapped/captured from conquered countries (typically Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Hungary....)then forced to convert to Islam and serve as an elite corps in the Turkish Ottoman Empire as a vanguard. They eventually became influential and taking over many parts of the government.

Would like to know what you think.

Well done, Mondo. Figure modelers are at the top of my list since these are the things that I really cannot do. You really have to have an artist's touch to bring out the faces realistically. Again, Bravo! I hope to meet you someday if you get a chance to come home.

Salamat sa inyong pagtatankilik. Tama ba? Sana nga lang bumaba pa ang presyo ng mga kits na ito.

So far I think I'm the only Pinoy poster here in Armorama who's very much into this genre of figures. I hope to see one of you dig into this one day.

Next on the chopping block: Verlindens 54mm vignette of the Battling Knights/Agincourt.

If ever the proposed hobby shop does come out of the drawing board, I'll display these on the window. Huwag nyo lang a-arborin! :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thanks again guys, see you all in December.
