Hello Everybody,

I just got a shiny new air compressor and am wondering if anybody has an Aztek 4709 airbrush out there-- what size fitting do you use to connect it to your air supply?

I figure I'll be making a trip to the hardware store...might as well get the right size the first time

Ciao sonofavet,
I have the A470 (about the same, maybe?) and mine is a 1/2 inch. The can adapter that came with the airbrush fits it like a champ.
Ciao for now

If it is the same set 4709, I got three adapters with the airbrush. The normal 1/2", an insert for to make that 1/4", and one for tires/cans. I've had two compressors with the airbrush and everything work straight off...

If you need help you can go to an auto parts store. They carry a great collection of air compressor fittings and adapters.

Alright, I'll try an auto store next...

I was at a hardware store, it appears the fitting for the 4709 airbrush is 1/4 of an inch...while my compressor is 1/2 inch. Thanks of the info guys, I'll let you know when I get it running.

Yes and if you are like me and use a couple of different kinds of airbrushes, you need some quick connect fittings.

I have a Badger 200 and a Aztek 4709....and of course the air lines are not the same, so I got a female quick connect for the compressor, and a male quick connect for each airline....worked like a charm.....now I just plug in which ever line I need now.

i have my air filter, mositure filter, etc all lined up, then i have an exit and i have my big air hose that conectes 8 or 9 feet further and plugs in my pressure regulator. from there i jsut use the compressor adapter that comes with the airbrush
