Hey guys now i know that the allies hat the signs on the helmets but did they germans do the same and if so were the sgins the same? Thanks in advance

German helmets carried two decals(branch of service and national colors or party shield) until 1940 and a single decal(branch of service) until 1943. These Army(Heer) examples demonstrate a pre-war 'double decal' M-35 from 1938 and a 'single decal' M-40 from mid 1940 through early 1942. Hope this helps.
