Ciao everyone,
I finally finished this booger. I am very proud of the results, but after all that work (and lost vision) I am having second thoughts about weathering it (and consequently covering all that hard work). What do you guys think? I am asking you sage people to advise me on this matter.

As you are proud of your cart all the Sicilians are too!!!
The only weathering I'll do is to apply a filter to tone down/fade a bit the colours nothing more...
Bravo!!!
Ciao

Grazie Fabio,
I guess it really is bright. The color is "blood red" from the Citadel line of paints (the one that is used with Warhammer figures.) I just liked to the brightness, but I guess you are right. I might have to give it a wash of black or brown. I was actually thinking of sanding some of the paint off (rather than drybrushing) to try and control the amount of weathering. Thoughts?
Ciao for now

In Sicily they will never go around with chipped paint on their carts!!! I'll try with a filter (98% of thinner to 2% of paint) just to fade it a bit. Do it with a mix of oil Naples Yellow and a bit of Titanium white. Try before on a piece of scrap wood painted in the same color to check the effect before ending with something you don't like...
Ciao
P.S.: you're welcome
