Well, Flex. You know what they say, experience can be a very cruel teacher. They give you the test before the lesson.

OK, seriously now. What a/b are you using? If it's a Tamiya (which I Lil's is the place to go. Tamiya's basic a/b costs about 4,800+ pesos. I'm talking Spray Works here which comes with its own compressor.

If it's Badger, well, that'll depend on where you live. If you live in Manila (or within striking distance of it), there are several art stores in the U-Belt area where you can go.

If you are within striking distance of shangri-la mall in Mandaluyong, there's Han's Tools on the 6th level. A good unit (no compressor) will fetch at above 5 grand.

Depends sa Badger mo. Mine is the 175 Crescendo which costs 6.5k :-) Yung Badger 150 naman is 6k.

Tapos yung compressor ko is Kawasaki 25-30 psi - 4k.

Tamiya's Basic Sprayworks stainless steel replacement AB (NOT the High Grade version but good enough) costs around 800 pesos. That's about as good a deal as it gets.

Flex,

There was a shop in Recto (going to Divisoria) that sold Badger spare parts. Problem is, I dont know if it still does business though.

The basic Tamiya AB Lattex mentioned is a very good substitute. Gravity fed and sprays well.

Sigman,

Hey, welcome to this corner of the net! This is a place a lot of us call home.

I'm curious too Jon. I haven't actually seen one on sale separate from the Spray Works Set. I've been repairing a lot of the handpieces and they definitely cost more than 800 to overhaul. So that would indeed be a great deal.

Badger spare parts can be bought at St.Patricks Commercial. They have branches in Sampaloc, Recto and Makati. I once bought from them a water filter for my compressor. I think the owners are the same as the art supply shop in Recto....hmmmm, forgot the name. I bought my Badger 175 AB set from them...

Very interesting, LatteX. Where did you see one (or bought one)? I was thinking of getting an HG but if this is available, I may reconsider.

If you are refering to water trap w/regultator...(I bought one from them)....I think it costs between PhP 2K to 2.5K.

Does the water trap w/ regulator work even with a compressor setup na walang tank? I might get one too....

Dude, kung sakaling makakarating ka doon sa shops, pakit tanong naman kung meron silang bottle + siphon tube and cap na available (for Badger 175). Di ko magamit AB ko dahil walang siphon tube + cap.

Yup, the copressor I'm using does not have a tank. My compressor is a Badger Whirlwind II model 80-2, the maximum pressure is just 28PSI. The one I got is a Badger Air regulator, filter and gauge set. What I'm not sure is if the water trap would fit other compressors.
