I hope someone here can help me figure something out.
I am having the weirdest trouble with 'My Selected Link' on my posts.
I found out today that my link does not work properly so I went in and tried to fix it and still no luck. Everybody including me just keeps getting an error page when trying to visit my selected link.

In my posts I type my url with the url tabs and my links works perfect and goes to my website. If I type the EXACT same thing in my account page for my link it won't work
If you click my link and look at the web address that comes up after the error shows on the screen there is a bunch of garbage in my url that doesn't belong there and that I have not put there. This happens to everyone and not just me.
I have tried resetting my link with Netscape and IE thinking that maybe for some reason one of the browsers was doing some weird kind of exorcism on my link. I also went and tried to reset it on a totally different computer. Still no luck.
Does anyone out there have any idea what is going on? How do I fix my link.? It has worked just fine until just recently and this is really frustrating
Thanks for any help and good modeling,
Wayne

Wayne,
The difference is that on your profile page you just put in the full URL:
http://www.abingdon.net/~dowell
And that is all. Now it works.
