The Model Shop on Deansgate isn't that good. It stocks a large range of kits but not a lot of aftermarket. It's definitely better than the likes of the one in the Trafford Centre and St.John's Precinct, about the same as the one in Seel Street, liverpool, but with a larger stock of kits. On another note, the one in Seel street has begun stocking the occassional Plus Model dio base and accessory, so is worth a look if you're passing

The shop in Deansgate is a Modelzone store and do a good selection of obscure ranges. They normally have a good range of Plus Model inas well, more than Seel Street.

The shop in Deansgate had absolutely NONE of the Plus Model products last time I was there, and nearly all armour was Tamiya with some Dragon thrown in and one or two Alan pieces. A LOT more aeroplane than armour, with most of the shop being RC and downstairs being mostly train.

hi Davy

I live in Morecambe - so Preston is quite handy for me.

Off topic but ... I see you like 2 wheels as you mode of transport. I am into motorcycles. Hence Preston is better for motorcycle gear as well as the scale model shopping!

Have you found any other model shops in the north west that you can recommend? Can you get a discount at your mates shop in Southport.

As for bikes Im into my Lambretta's got 3 at the Mo in various stages from completely built to completely in bits
