How can Melbourne win the NRL when they haven't beaten the Bulldogs since 2000? Go the Doggies!

Oi, personally I've always been a Dragons fan meself. But, will have to add that the Super 12 is my fav'. Can't go past the Brumbies for that one!
For the life of me, even after watching AFL for years, I still don't get some of the positional plays. Plus, how do they cope with the singlets in a Melbourne winter??
