There are 6 Days left in the Armorama Content Drive! There is still time to enter your review or article but be quick. The 31st will be here before you know it. We haven't recieved all that many article entries in the following areas so your chances of winning would be pretty good if you submit something.

Figures
Spaceships
Warships

For more info on this contest see this page.

Don't forget too that final voting on the Armor Shootout and the User of the Month are now underway and will also end on the 31st.

Cheers,
Jim

Hello Jim!
I'm Francesco, do you remember me? I sent you an E-mail but you didn't reply, thinking that it wasnt' delivered correctly... anyway, I could partecipate, but I have only one model finished actually, it partecipated to a contest on internet with another site, an Italian one, along with an article. May it be included in this model contest, even with a re-written article in English and some new photos?

Also, you say no more than 1000 words howmuch in K-bytes terms? And how many photographs? Which format? How much large?

Thank you in advance,
Francesco

PS: when will an other contest in Armorama be?

Francesco,
My apologies if I did get your email and didn't respond. I try not to make excuses but I have recieved over 2000 emails for Armorama since the site went up and it's hard to keep them all straight at times.

You certainly are welcome to contribute the article you mentioned. The text requirement is actually a "minimum" of 1000 words. Meaning your article would need to have 1000 or more to be eligible. If you use MS Word there is a "Word Count" feature under the "Tools" pulldown. I believe the rules also call for a minimum of 3 quality images to be incuded with the article. The format can be:

Text, MS Word doc, MS Works doc, RTF, others that can be imported into Word 2000.

Images can be .bmp, .jpg, .tif, or .pcx.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Jim

Hi Jim!

Not a problem at allfor that e-mail.

I'm sorry but I cannot partecipate... actually i have some 3 pieces to work, one is almost finished but there are too many things missing... I'm working hard during this summer because I've three months of holidays but I'm worink simultaneusly to three projects and they will not be finished until a couple of weeks or maybe a month.

Hope to have other opportunities in the future!

Francesco,
I am sure we will at some point. But I hope you will consider submitting articles or reviews when we aren't having a contest too!

Good luck with your projects. Don't work too hard though. Summer in Italy must be nice.

Cheers,
Jim

Darn! He didn't take my bribe!..... Errr, what I meant to say was:
Of course I was joking, Jim! :-)
If I had actually worked on writing an article, it'd have been uploaded a month ago. I couldn't expect you to change deadlines.. It'd be unfair to those who worked hard to get their story in before the deadline.
There's always next year! Besides, I need to get started on the group aircraft build! :-)

Paulo (and others),
Don't be too anxious. I have to organized my judging forms, rules, and put together a team from people who aren't in the contest. Plus I will be gone for the IPMS show for the first few days of the month.

By mid-month the winners should be announced. Hopefully.

Jim
