Here are a few photos of an old man sitting in the seat like he did 35 years ago(and a lot thinner I might add). It has brought to a close a lot of feelings and has completed the full circle for me. I have more photos of the Gathering at Ft.Eustis Va here https://armorama.kitmaker.net/photos/showgallery.php?cat=13064&ppuser=1742

Looks like you had a fine time, Animal

My dad got to go to a 3/5 Black Knights reunion before he passed away so I can imagine from his recounting how good it was for you to be at this gathering in Ft. Eustis.

It was good for him to get together with the guys he'd gone through Hell with and reconnect with some buddies he'd served with. It was cathartic. They had theirs in the Fort Knox area and he brought back similar piccies.

I don't think that Animal is still a handsome man after 35 years in service, he's still holding the 50cal. MG in hand. Be careful! I saw a poster in a military camp in Vietnam: "Old soldier never die!". Cheers.
