When I was stationed at Ft. Bragg back in the early 90's a few of us in my model club went in on a purchase together. The purchase wasnt of a kit or anything, but one of the membership deals that VLS was offering at the time. Gold, Platinum etc. I cant reacall exactly what it was, but we recieved some type of discount on all of the orders we placed. At Christmas is when we really got some deals, usually inthe 50-75% range. When it came time for me to leave I just sold my portion to somebody who was interested in keeping it going. The more folks we got involved the less it cost. We would put together orders at the monthly meetings, and divy out the goodies at the following meeting. Something that those of you who are in clubs might want to toss around to see if anybody is interested in doing. Todo it by yourself canget exspensive, but it is very cost effective when you have a goup participating. Just some food for thought. "Q"
