yes there are very Israelis who actually build armour most seem more interested in aircraft. here is a question however I am looking to make a list of vehicles on display in Israel. this includes a list at museums (we have a list for Latrun from the a curator) but also I would like to include monuments and gate gaurds . so If you live near something please let me know....

I am sure those forums are great, as you say, but this site allows you to both interact with modelers globally as well as nationally and regionally. That is the intent anyway.

Thanks,
Jim

well,Jim,you misunderstood me,i think it's good for us israeli modellers to be connected with the big world of modelling, but i don't see why do we need our own communitty.Anyway it is kind of neat seeing all the Degem and Ort folks around here.

Rei,
Look at it this way... Armorama is like a big online modelling convention. You can either have a table at the convention or not. That is up to you and your community. Personally I think it would be nice to see a more active group of Israeli modelers on Armorama. This area would just be an additional "hang-out" for them and a place to meet and greet new members from there.

Cheers,
Jim
