Hi!
A relative of mine is visiting me from Houston, now, where I live I can't get a hold of a folding tool for etched metal. I'm hoping someone someone on Armorama can tell me wich are the best modelling supply stores in Houston, TX that would stock stuff like this!

Thanx in advance for any tips!

BTW - I'm in a hurry on this....

Landshark is correct. Hobby Island is the best in Houston. David, the owner, is a great guy and very helpful. He stocks one of the brands of photo-etch bending tools, not sure which. Landshark already posted the phone number. The address is 9430 Richmond 77063, which is on the west side of town, in between Fondren and Gessner and inside Beltway 8 (Sam Houston tollroad). He is open 11 to 6 (7 on Saturdays) , except he is closed on Wed.

When I visited Houston in 2001, I bought some modeling stuff in a place named:

Hobby Island Inc.
9430 Richmond, Ste E Houston, TX 77063
Phone 713 781 4790
Fax 713 781 6027
[email protected]

When I was there I knew the owner, a guy named David. The shop was very complete and the atention was friendly.
Hope this help.

There is no other decent hobby shop in Houston. Hobby Island is the best. Say hello to Dave.

The others used to be good, but they have reputations for yelling at their customers for using the internet to buy models... (old long story...) #:-)
