I would like to know what are the best documentaries on the subject of WWII are. B and W or color.
I already have "The world at war" series on DVD, so any other suggestions?

Given that I have 60+ documentaries, I think I may be able to help you out. Okay, I'd have to say that Frank Capra's Documentary Set, "Why We Fight" is a very good. They were made during the war, so they don't say who wins. (Who? WHO?! ) Also, the "Century of Warfare" is a very educational, and very nicely well made. I hope this helps. Thanks for your time.

This is an absolute no-brainer:
World at war from the Beeb!!!
No competion comes even close...
However I do have to mention a German set that would translate as "Hitler's accomplices" and if I am not mistaken it is by the German historian Guido Knopp (this guy wrote some great books about wwII).
