I've been working the aftermarket kit onto my Italerie DuKW. I've been having quite a time with the superglue, especially my fingers. So far I haven't glued them together so bad where I' can't safely get them apart, but there is a deposit that remains limiting my tactile sense. I've been using my mototool with a sander on it to adjust some of the resin parts and just to see , ran it over my finger tips to try to remove glue deposits. IT WORKS!!. Just do it lightly and at low speeds.

Aaaah the removing CA glue from your fingers topic again...
Well you are right on top with sadning it off, When I have CA glue on my fingers I always get out some sanding paper and do a few rubs on me hands... Works terrific

Sphynx, Matt, You're right- acetone or Nail polish remover is the quickest & easiest way to get CA off of skin. BUT remember, This stuff is a known carcinogen! Used sparingly it should be O.K., but it's not exactly wise to soak in it. It's effects are also cumulative- once it's absorbed into the bloodstream, the kidneys try to filter it but it accretes there, killing off cells. The more you get the worse it gets, and there's no known way to reverse the effects. Just a heads up. With all of the other fumes, dusts, particulates, and assorted poisons we expose ourselves to through our hobby, we should all be careful to limit what we can. Lets all live to be old enough that we can only see well enough to model in, say, 1/5th scale, eh?

Don't use the cordless circular saw you got for Christmas. It might splatter blood on your model.

Acetone. Also can be used to remove PE parts that need to be repositioned.
