Hi All,
Ok, I hope this works, I've created a quick site on msn to show you guys some of my work...I still have problems with the coding for attaching pics in the forums, so hopefully I can insert the link correctly here for you to check it out, and please, all comments welcome!

Quick overview: Tamiya's Flak SemiTrack with Armored cab, scratched wall section, and a cast Verlinden piece. Rubble all hand made from plaster, cork bricks, mig pigments, toothpicks and balsa wood.

Please let me know if the link works...I'm still trying to figure it out...

http://groups.msn.com/KellysScaleModelHomepage/shoebox.msnw Here is a direct link to your work. Very good examples I might add. Thanks for sharing.
Why don't you put your photos on the gallery here at Armorama.

It looks great. What did you make the base from? It looks like some sort of clay tile or something.

Hi guys,
Thanks all for the nice comments...I've been building military for about three years now, and I have a few more dios that I have pics for. Next time I will load them into the Gallery here.

Jonasaberg, the base is made from that thick blue inslualtion foam board, it is light, sands like a dream and goes through the tablesaw like butter! The "roadwork" is a product from Tamiya, they are basically sheets of textured paper, and there is about 4-5 different patterns available, from cobblestones, brick work, and the fanned brick patterns. I simply cut the size I needed, applied white glue, and attached it to the base. Put a couple of heavy books on it overnight and you're good to go. However, I did find that when I was gluing down my rubble the paper wrinkled because it was so wet, but it was an advantage, it gave the road an uneven surface!
