hi all, im looking into doing a 1/35th scale diorama or a railway gun, a d6200 leopold, i was just wondering if anyone had come across this model before, and how they found it to build. also, as this scale matches the O gage in railway modelling, does this mean it will fit the tracks, any help would be greatly appreciated. thankyou in advance, cj

By Leopold do you mean the K5/e Leopold rail gun? Or is there another railgun referred to as Leopold?
If you do mean the K5/e Leopold then yes there are 2 kits available in 1:35 scale one by Dragon and one by Trumpeter. If you wish to run it on standard O gauge track then get the Dragon kit as the Trumpeter one is built to russian 5' gauge and won't fit..
My apologies if I've missed something here

sirs
I believe (and you CAN quote me on this ) That O gauge is scaled @ 1/48. The closest scale to 1/35th in model railroading is "Gauge 1" that runs between 1/22.5 and 1/32.
Here to help

Artillerymen would have operated them. There are ENDLESS threads about the two models (Trumpeter and Dragon) with some very useful tips for building/displaying... Be careful it is a big project (even OOB)...Jim
