Hi guys, Here is the latest pics of my progress on my Pershing.

I do need alittle help on the color to use for the big tarp on the side. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Penny - I recommend Khaki Drab, with a light wash for depth and a very light drybrush to bring out the detail of wrinkles and creases.

Rationale: You picked a great subject Pershing example. "Fireball" was knocked out early in it's deployment by an ambushing Panther. "Fireball" was then returned to depot and the damaged sections of the Turret were repaired and the destroyed main gun was actually replaced with a 3" gun barrel - making this a unique looking Pershing. It returned to combat and got revenge on another Panther about a month or so later after being knocked out.

In either case, the tank didn't see a very long period of time on the battlefield and its gear likely didn't have the time and exposure to weather to the degree modelers often subject their models to...

My thoughts - I was researching "Fireball" to model it after repairs and the return to the battlefield...

Penney,you could use model Master Faded Olive drab.It would replicate the color of canvas tarps supplied with the vehucle.
Nice job so far!

Lady Penny,

This is one fine looking model, it shows to them stooperd armor modelers, that we plane modelers can do a better model. :-)

Way to go! Oink! (++)
