.... in his search for M163A2 turret interior photos, the author found this...

Corregidor gun in 1/48 scale

.... and the author drops to his knees and bows to the ground with tears in his eyes chanting.... 'I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy'

Can you guess whos work this is? :-)

Yes Liebgott its Doc. Hermies work. Grabe...

You can find this at http://www.track-link.net/gallery/search , type 'hermie landayan' in the modeller field and you'll see his other works aside from this.

An absolute gem of work. I believe it's in 1/72nd scale, not 48th. This was displayed in my old shop for a long time, and it did attract a lot of inquiries whether a kit could be bought or if it was for sale. BTW, the disappearing carriage works. You can manually raise/lower the gun, with the counterweights moving with it. Fantastic!

I have already sent an e-mail to the website regarding this. As soon as I have received their reply I will be posting both my original e-mail and their reply on this thread.

I was too excited when I saw a co-club member's work posted on that site that I have forgotten about this matter (terms and conditions).

I will keep you posted. Thank you very much for the heads up.

Indeed Sir, truly awesome and 'frightening' ;o) I wish in one of our regular club meets Sir Hermie will bring this piece along with him. I Really want to see it 'in the flesh'.

Good day!

My lawyer will contact your lawyer.

Anyways... I don't care if people take pictures from my site and use them, afterall if I did then I probably wouldn't have bothered making track-link at all. I was just kidding with you anyways... if you haven't gathered that already.

Cheers,
Paul.
