Meron Academy Light and Dark Ghost Grey available sa Hobbitio. Also you can buy an entire set of Academy colors used for aircrafts.

Hobbitio - yung sa ATC, another branch of STC

Yung isang set ata costs 350-500, 10 paints. Meron din nitong set na to sa JMN kaso nga lang AFV at Ship set lang yon. I'll try checking this week. Ok naman magdry ang enamels, 5-10 mins tuyo na agad.

Di bale, P50 lang naman yon sa STC. Pwede rin industrial paint thinners.

hi flex_cs!

i think tamiya has dark ghost grey in their range. check out their AS range of paints. if your tamiya chart is dated 1999, the last color is AS20 insignia white. i think a lot colors have been added ever since like gunship grey (for their 1/32 F-15E) and both light and dark ghost grey (for their 1/32 F-15C).

good news is its lacquer like gunze . i'm not sure though, but i think you can use it with gunze thinner too. bad new is all AS range are available in spray cans only and thus are more expensive than their bottle counterparts.

if you want to airbrush it, i suggest you transfer the paint first by spraying it in a container (a film cannister will do) and airbrush it like any other paint.

hope this helps!

Hi Flex:

As they say, don't judge the book by its cover.

Ordinary paint thinner (enamel) will do the trick. I tried it and I have not seen any adverse effect. You may also try Hudson acrylic (automotive) thinner though that stuff's stronger.

With the help of thinner, those paints can go a long way.
