Hi Tigeriv
I don't live in England but I've dealt with Squadron off and on for years. Normally they can get an order to me in about four or five days. They have a great customer service dept, so if you are having a problem I'm pretty sure they have a 1-800 number on the web site. Give them a call, I'm sure they will help you out.

Medic,
They dont take Pay Pal, just the standard credit cards and money orders. I just place an order with them 5 minutes ago.
As far as going overseas, I remember when I was stationed in Germany back between 1990 and 1993, I placed an order and it took about a month, but then again, I didnt have a computer and I sent them a money order.
Know, I live in San Antonio, 4 hours away from Squadron, and I get things in 3 to 4 days.

Hi Tigeriv,
I order from Squadron fairly regularly, they ship pretty quickly but sometimes the actual transit takes what seems for ever, I've had some in a fortnight but others have taken 6 to 8 weeks.
I've learnt that patience is a virtue if you've had the shipping note (which usually comes airmail) your goods have been packed and are on the way :-)
Happy modelling

Also remember for you non USA residents that Squadron lies deep in the heart of Texas, making the travel overseas a little longer then coastal cities here in the USA

we also ordered from Squadron from Holland. They really seem a trustable company to us and they still send us on regular base a catalog. It didn't take too long for them to deliver but we don't remember the term. It looks like they have a store in Germany also at least they send the catalog from Germany ;-)

I don't think that Squadron have a European shop it's just that the monthly flyers come from a European mail distribution centre and have German postmarks, I also subscribe to Fine Scale Modeler and it too comes with a European postmark but the magasine is published in the USA.
It's one of those things about the postal system that we'll never understand
Happy modelling

I order in squadron on a regular basis; here in Asia (Philipines) it usually takes around 3-4 weeks, being that it has to pass through customs
