Instead of heading out to our local IPMS chapter meeting last night - my wife and I went to catch "Shrek 2" at the cinema.

If you have a sense of humor and need a break from "reality" - you have to go see this movie. It is hilarious - better than the first - and quite cut for the adult(s). Kids will simply not "get" this movie - but you as an adult will.

Even though it's hilarious, Antonio Banderas (I never thought he'd be cast in the movie. I was sorta surprised he agrees to lend his voice to Puss) gives "justice" to that swashbuckling kitty in boots. Maybe it's a Latino thing. :-)

Shrek 2 was an awesome movie. Geared for the kid in heart for all of us. I agree with some of the earlier comments, the diolouge is set more toward the adults which is great bc how often do adults get cartoons made for us.
Antonio Banderas was excellent as Puss In Boots...gotta love him...
