I was going thru my old car models and I thought this old delivery panel van would make a nice army ambulance, or delivery truck.
But I wasn't quite clear on the year so I went to this model round up that sells out of production models, and they had a couple 1940 sedan delivery 2 in 1 drag or street by AMT for 75 bucks, which is what this is, but I had no idea it was worth 75 bucks before I drafted it.
Now she is already half army colors now, but what the heck, I think it will look a lot more interesting being an army delivery truck or ambulance, I haven't decided yet.
That is what it gets for being around when the olive drab was being tried out. The year makes it fit in there OK to.
