If i was to use tamiyas flat base to spray my model 251/1 halftrack should i have to thin it down with thinner or water or just spray the flat base with no mix please let me know thanks

DON'T repeat DO NOT spray that stuff on your finished product. It's made to mix in with paint not spray over it. It will leave your model dusty translucent white. One more reason to avoid Tamy paint.

The Tamiya flat base is used to modify the gloss of Tamiya's other paints. It does not have binders or driers. It would not adhere well nor would it ever dry completely.

To reiterate....don't use this straight on your model.
You can however mix it with Future to make a flat coat. There was an article in FSM awhile back that gave a break down of the mixing ratios.
1 part Flat Base to 3 parts Future = Dead Flat
1 part Flat Base to 10 parts Future = Flat
1 part Flat Base to 15 parts Future = Satin or Semi Gloss
