Hi everyone.........
Right down to business. My friend last night gave me an idea to accompany a Panther G model. Some kids climbing over the tank while the sentry blatently ignoring them........
After a search on the net I couldn't find a single kit with children in.......
And the only ideas I could think of would be to build them from adult kits. the only problem would be scaleing down the heads...
Or using 1/42 stuff, if it's out there........
Would this be accurate or does anyone now a good kit?
Thanks in advance.....

Hi Longshanks, Preiser do a set of WW2 civilian refugees. The set includes a couple of kids pushing a cart, maybe they could be altered to show them scrambling around on the tank. Here's a link, if you click on the thumbnail it gives a bigger pic.

Using smaller scale figures wouldn´t work IMO. The problem is that an adult body has not got the same proportions as a child´s body. The head is bigger for the child and I think that arms and legs are not the same proportions either.
I took an art history class some time ago and the teacher told us about the same problem in painting a few hundred years back. They basically painted the children (specifically baby Jesus) as a smaller adult and it just doesn´t look quite right.

I'll second what brandydoguk suggested about the Preiser figures...they're high quality and a pretty good choice for children. They're a tad pricey, though, but I think they're worth the buy.
