Hi guys
I just came from the Hometown Hobbies.com web site. They look like they got alot of pretty cool stuff at cheap prices. What I would like to know, as the title states, has anybody ever order from these folks? Whats the service like? How long did it take to get your order? Any problems, etc?
I do most of my model shopping online. The site looks real good, and I'm always looking for someplace else to go broke. So any feedback would be a big help.
Thanks
Wolfsix

I've just placed my first order with them, international order shipped within the 6-8 days stated on their website. They stuck to what they said, so these days that's a good start.

Hi,
I have ordered from HomeTown twice. Both orders were shipped as advertised, 6-8 working days. One of the seven items ordered was not in stock. Two of the thirteen items ordered were not in stock. I paid with a credit card which was charged for the entire order but a check for the out of stock items was included with both orders. Overall I am very pleased with the way they do business.

Mr. Wolf is a gentleman to deal with.
I've never had a problem with ordering from him.
If you want instant returns,
just take the time to check if it is stock,
his "in stock" items are usually up to date,
but unfortunately we all need to understand that if only
one item is in stock, and two people order it,
then one is going to be disappointed.
Hope this helps.

I actaully get most af my stuff from Hometown Hobbies now. I have never once had a problem with an order, and everything gets to me in a timely manner. I think they have some of the best prices anywhere on the web, also. Give them a try, I highly recommend.

My top pick of on-line hobby stores Good service & low price. I do most of my on-line transactions with them.
