guys i think there was a thread about this na but i just cant find it...so i want to ask u guys kung ano ba un tamang paint for an AH-64 Apache....Dark brown, olive drab....????

Helo drab as mentioned in Buck's last post. Pero ako Olive Drab na lang. You see... at some point, the Tamiya OD turns to brown and to green at some lighting. You don't need to be exact, just precise.

hmmm ano un exact number ng tamiya na olive drab?? nakajapanese ba un bottle bka d ko mabasa eh hehehe since ive never used tamiya paints b4
PS: guys i have a startling revelation....i love doing this hobby but i am color blind! hehehe sumtyms i ask my sister for the color differences... :-) normal ba u n??

bad for your modeling yun problema mo friend. difficult for you to see and identify different colors. good thing you got your sister at reach. i, myself is not a color junky. i dont usually follow the color guide. most A/C paints are faided specially US navy A/C, they are expose to elements and weather easily. so i always add few drops of white to the base color and cover the whole A/C. then i can use the original color for shading and spots. most navy A/C are mottled with different shades of one color because most aircrew just paint their A/C with any paint they can grab specially on missions. end rusult, few different shades of gray in one A/C, (faided paint, fresh paint, different shade).
in building models for me, the more life like the better.
