Hi everybody,
This summer I will go to the States and I want to buy alot of things there that are cheaper than here in Holland. Because this is the first time I don't know any shops or stores related to Model building in Los Angeles, San Fransico or New York. Does any of you guys know stores that are related to model building or where you can buy Dragon Action Figures??

I don't know about New York or San Francisco, but for me at least in L.A., Mission Models would be a must.

I currently live in NY, about an hour from NYC. I will honestly tell you there are no good model stores in my area, only RC stuff. Most stores only have some basic Revel car kits and paints, no Evergreen Styrene!!!!!!!! I had to go as far as to order Plastruct from the web.

If you're visiting LA you might get down to Orange County and check out
Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove, maybe 10 minutes drive from Disneyland. They were the hobby store I used to go to as a kid in the early 70s and they are still going strong.

A hobby shop that I go to is in Long Beach, CA. Its called the Military Shop. Only open FRI - MON. But the guy who runs the place is VERY knowledgable about his products. He has a very loyal following of customers and is very helpful.

Thnx guys! Bookhurst hobbies has all the things i'm looking for. I'm staying in LA for I think 4 days so I think I have time enough to visit them both. By the way: Have any of you guys been to Universal Studios???
