All,

Since I have started entering the campaigns and group builds on this site, I am actually getting close to finishing some kits. The first in several years. The comradarie helps keep me going between the once-a-month meeting with my local club.

Thanks ya'll

It goes almost the same for all of us..though for some it has been a motive to build 4-5 things at a time but ...ok we can handle this ....

I think this site has helped me to improve my skills, but its still a long way. this site has also helped increase my addiction to buy more kits than I can build in a lifetime

This place is the best thing next to Belgium chocolate!! I have learned a very lot about our hobby here and have made so many friends that I now have to resign from the Hermits club!

I totally agree. Before getting involved in some campaigns I had finished exactly one model in six months. Now, I've completed three or four in less time, and I'm much closer to finishing four or five more.

Besides the great comradeship what I really love here is the ability to find out about new things. My goal is to try something new with each kit. When it comes down to actually doing something new, all I have to do is a search on Armorama and find suggestions on how to do different techniques. Armorama, and you guys, are the greatest.

I agree 100%
It's been at least 5 years since I finished a model.
Today, since joining, and signing up for a campaign,
I am just about finished with my M1A1, and signed up for the
"In coming" and "Move it" campaigns.

There is a lot of help and encouragement here at this site,
and a lot of really decent people from around the world,
all doing their best to promote the enjoyment of the hobby,
and to improve their skills, and help others improve.

It's also refreshing to see we do not seem to engage in flame wars,
or degrading each others work., and that all constructive comments are
exactly that, constructive, not destructive, helpful, not harmful, or insulting.

It's a great site, a well run site, a well behaved site,
it's wonderful to see the willingness to help the newcomer to the hobby,
the old returners to the hobby, and how quicky questions are answered.
It's a site to be proud of being a member.
it's a site that encourages all to become active members.

Well time to get off the soap box, and back to finishing my M1A1.......
:-)
