I have been coming to and getting valuable knowledge from your site for a few months now. Decided to take the plunge and join your rag tag group. (Sarcasm, very proffessional looking site.)
I have been building 1/35 Vietnam era models only for the past 15 years. Started with armor, expanded to helicopters and BWN, now with the F105 I will start on Aircraft.
My friends call me Sonny, among other things behind my back. I live and work around Dallas Texas, Graphic Designer. I just finished a 1:1 scale model of a 66 Mustang Fastback (shelby clone).
Anything Vietnam related, "That's my bag baby"

Howdy Fire Base X-Ray,
Mighty glad you decided to join us "rag-tag" buggers! I don't doubt you will be glad you did.
Now, you're "Nam era modeler huh? Sounds great to me. You will find that (as our good Gunnie said) there are many "Nam modeler's represented here.
You also mentioned the Riverine Force. Very glad to hear that. I have been wanting to scratch a 'Tango' boat for quite some time, but other priorities always seem to get in the way.
Welcome, and glad to add you to the Asylum!

Bienvenido a Armorama!
You're lucky to join us or we might be lucky that you joined. Take your pick.
Vietnam, huh. I've got a tamiya M113 lying around. Maybe I'll make it out as one of those my country used in Vietnam during the war. Oh, yes! did serve there. Somewhere around Tay Ninh. They called it PHILCAG.

Ciao,
Your city is belissimo man! Too bad we were just passing by on our way to Venezia and Padova. I'm planning to go back within this month. Tell me where can I buy Pegaso/Romeo/Soldiers kits and Italeri kits as well. I work in Saudita and the kits available here is quite limited. There were only 2 shops in Venezia and I didn't even find anything I liked. Plus I got lost on the way back.

Hooah!! Welcome to Armorama Sonny. You wouldn't be a Vietnam Vet per chance?
Hey Animal, no I am not a vet unfortunatly. Just have a great fasination with the 60' s era. Love the music, cars (got a 66 Mustang Fastback I restored) hippie movement and trying to undertstand the War. I grew up in the 70's & 80's.
You have some greatwork. Glad to see I'm not alone in scratching an M54, and wishing someone would produce one to save me a lot of work. Love the tanker, it's on my loooong " to build someday" list.
Thanks for the welcome
