OMG! Did you scratchbuild the inner portiion of the raised skirts? Man! Doesn't look like a 1/72 kit to me! Kulang na lang yung parang long cylindrical metal sa may bandang wheels. (Forgot the name eh).

Good Question
I also wondered why they call it Braille Scale .. I know that "Braille" is associated with writing and printing for the visually impaired or the blind.
But in modelling "Braille Scale" meant small scale..Can anybody tell us why ..Dalawa na kami ni flex_cs nagtatanong

Sa Braille scale kasi kinakapa na lang ang parts. They're so small seeing them is not a requirement hehe

No, it's called Braille because they're so small, if you build too much of it, you'll eventually go blind... AND THEN you'll be reading in braille!

Hehehehe
Buck: Nice, very nice. I am constantly amazed with 3-color paint schemes on a 1/72 subject...

Guys, di naman! Im really flattered. But many thanks! Im glad you liked it.
To all those who asked about "Braille" Im not quite sure exactly why its called such, but I tend to agree with GI. Its so small you'll go blind eventually. :-)
Shonen,
If you mean the stowage and all, yes theyre scratch-built. I replaced what appears to be handles on the skirts with wire so mukhang buhay. But the interior of the skirts themselves are basically stock.
GI,
Im sure by now most of you guys noticed I have this preference for the 3-color NATO scheme. I really like the scheme kasi. It really looks modern.
Tanker & Flex,
Long time no see/hear, my friends. Hope to see you guys this 16th.
RatsThanks! And welcome to this wonderful nook we call our own.

Damn! If 1/72 scale is Braille because you'll go blind after sometime due to its size..... what am I supposed to call the scale I'm currently working on? 1/144....

Loco scale? ahehehehe

Your work is so darn good I can't decide whether to call you
Master Vader or
Master Finger.

NATO 3-color scheme
ALWAYS rules hehehe!
BTW, you sure Buck that you don't have a dwarf or two working for you?

EVERYONE:
Do not attempt to enter the Nationals with your 1/72 armor. Chances are, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places go to Buck! Hehehehehe!

Tanker,
Sure! No problem. But you have to stop calling me "sir" or "maestro." Hehehe
Lipton,
You're too modest. Ive seen your own Bradley and it rocks!
CBrain,
I was actually thinking of a term for 1:144 when we were at Hobbies & Comics. How about Nano scale? LOL. I think Id go with "Master Vader." Now thats an area I really excel in. :-) :-)
GI,
The dwarf got run over by the Trebuchet Lulu Belle, remember? Oh, and I wouldnt be too sure about 1/72 armor. Guarnere's Centurion bridgelayer and Junior's Chally are pretty mean.

@Buck
Doing an armor in 1/35 that rocks is one thing. Doing it in 1/72 and still rocks is completely a different story. Don't worry, someday I'll venture into your grounds... mwahahaha! :-) and don't you tease me... har har har

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Hi Buck,
Just got back from holiday.
Man, your brad is way-cool!! Luv the way you dressed-up the machine. The stowage and stuff are well-rendered. Most impressive are the raised armour skirts; a braille master's touch!! Moreover, the TOW thing-a-magig detail at the end is a nice touch.
Man after seeing yours, my brad definitely needs more work. I wonder if I will ever finish it.
See you guys soon,
Wanze

Beautiful! I'm not a great fan of modern amour, but that looks amazing! The pics alone would easily be taken for a large scale piece, but in 1/72? REALLY good!

Junior,
Thanks! you know, even with such small pics its easy to see the details you did on your Challenger. Hats off to you, my friend!
Lipton,
C'mon, everyone (almost) saw your Bradley. That blasted skirt was really convincing. I'll be around on the 16th. Bring it over and we'll take pics so you can post em here.
Bistro,
Hope you had a great vacation, my man. Was wondrin why you were quite silent these past few days. If you need refs for your Bradley tell me and Ill lend you mine. See you soon!
Teacher,
