Here are the stuff you need for molding and casting in resin. I bought this last payday. Cost me around US$27.50. The tiny bottle on the left side is the resin catalyst. The only problem here is that I don't have the dye. so when I do the casting, it's transparent.
I first made molds of several vignette bases I got from Verlinden and the some Italeri house and church ruins. The rubber mold came out great. I'm still waiting for my cast to dry which might be when I get of from work today.
Remember, be in a well ventilated area.

Tsong, di ko makita yung unang pic. As for the clear resin, have you tried adding dye of some sort (jobus)?? I heard that there are some people who add jobus to their casting so they can see it clearly este makita yung detail ng mold. :-) :-)

Hirap itagalog.

Well guys, it works. Medio mahirap bantayan yung detail. I used a marker pen to check for details. One more thing. Make sure that when you pour the cast and let it dry, place it on a level place. Unfortunatel my window sill is a bit off-level. And also make sure that there is no sandstorm when you're drying it outdoor. That won't make your day.
:-)

Cbrain21: I have a family friend who's into the fibreglass crafting business. They use resin and RTV for it. The resin costs P98, while its catalyst costs P19, for a total price of P117. PM me for more details.

Can I also ask for fiberglass covers? Especially to cover the perimeter of the dio/model?

I think Shonnen what you need is a Clear Acrylic cover because fiberglass is different it comes in as a raw material... parang "Banig"
