I can recommend one really good book: How to build Dioramas by Sheperd Paine. I think it is available there in Manila.

I would recommend any Finescale mags and Verlinden books. Very useful. Also go for the Concord books. Althought, more on techie info, it has loads of reference pics.

You can go to JMN or any STC stores if it's not available, I'm sure JMN(Hrrison Plaza) can order it for you

CSMeekai: I can lend you my Tomcat book. Excellent reference for that pretty plane, although it is lacking in detail with regard to Iranian Tomcats. Other than that tidbit, the rest is excellent. It has several 1/72 scale line drawings, from prototypes to the D-variant. If you need it, a meet at STC Filinvest during the weekend would be ok for the transfer.

Jeremy: JMN has these books. Or you can borrow the books from me. I've got the "How to Build Dioramas" by Paine, first edition, as well as his other book on Armor. I've got an FSM armor conversion book but it's with SR right now for his Bulge project. I recently purchased a ship model book as well and can lend it to you.

If you need any books for reference, check this thread:

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/17348&page=1 (Jeep, perhaps sticky the book thread so others can access it and place an inquiry for borrowing books?)

If anyone needs any, just SMS, PM, email, or post at the Book Thread (preferably email) for borrowing books.

No problem about the late part. Enjoy the book. Just return it intact.

Sticky done

The Book of Paine is getting a good workout from me. It's amazing that Shep goes to create lengths to accurize his projects without spending a dime on aftermarket parts. An example would be the old Tamiya M3 on the cover. The Tamiya tracks are totally wrong but he makes them look good anyway. Inspiring!

PS: And I thought he used the Tamiya Dragon Wagon. I didn't believe that it was a mostly scratchbuilt project until I realized that the book is as old as I am.
