The year was 1943, Da 666 Fleigkorp of Russia.

In view of the escalating partisan artivities in the region, Da commandant decided that a Stuka Squardon would be put into anti-partisan missions. Sirens were reinstalled on the plane to create a more devastating efforts on them partisans.

Pilot : Konig von Phoneix was an upbeating young man unfortunately had too manie fantasy after he read a pirated copy of then merely famous JRR. Tolken's Lord of Rings, and he changed his name from Kristopher to Konig.

Gunner : Otto, was a stuka pilot, but so into rear end action, he volunteered to be the rear gunner for Konig.

This model is to create Otto's last mission, on the fateful day of Feb 30, 1943, after a bombing run of some partisan sled dogs, Otto decided to MG the potato fields in the vicinity. Unfortunately, in order to dodge ground fire, Konig did a belly roll, and Otto was so immensed in his Machine Gunning of Potato fields, and forgot to put his seat belts on. and was last seen flipped out of the plane yelling "Turnip Power"....

Verie sad state of affairs.

Lord SS let me be the first to prase your fine work on this winggie thingieee .That is a nice little history lesson to go with this kit , you must have done a lot of re-search to find such a great story . Now on to a more serious note ( Mrs. Toad rolls her eyes and says " Yeah right" ) the canopy is very well done on this one .Did you free hand it or did you use a masking trick ? Very well done from top to bottom
P.S. The tank stuff is still safe

Dear Lord of the Salami's

Great little story intertwined with Da Stuka. "Otto, was a stuka pilot, but so into rear end action, he volunteered to be the rear gunner for Konig."

I am speechless

Don't believe everything you read! Dave is prone to LYING!

However, the plane looks awesome, like it could seriously burninate any russian tank column. Excellent whitewash and well done!

The whole story sounds about right
Nice work Dave but I would suggest stenciling the names on the side of the plane.
