Hey guys,

here's a couple of projects I've been working on. Finally set up my work area in the basement I just need to add some shelves for my books and mags. Not bad for a $2 table which I got from a garage sale
Okay let me know what u think..

(Photo2) Binders on the left are reference materials(Paint info. Unit markings and photos)
(Photo3) Tamiya and DML's 1/16th unfinished figures.. I still have to re-touch the washes
(Photo 4&5)Here's DML's Fallschirmjager Vol.1 & 2 replaced with Hornet heads and painted with fast drying oils. Planning to make the straps for the helmets.
(Photo 6) Finally started on the Israeli M-325 It took me 3 tries to make the cab(the first cab I gave to my daughter for her playhouse_heheh), I used a .020" thk. plasticard which eventually warped so decided to used a .030" card. It still needs a lot of work. it's only 25% right now

Why oh why oh why oh why is it that all of you who have posted pix of their workplace look so damn organized and clean, when mine is a complete pile of sh1t of disorganized materials and tools - and that's EVEN if I've organized it! Am I the exception to the rule?

BTW, nice figs Blitz and will look forward to the Israeli command car. Query: What are the table's dimensions?

For those with the cutting mat, do you guys tack or glue in place your mat to your work area?

Thanks Guys, GI the table's dimension is 60" X 30" it has a lot of scratches considering it's a $2 dollar table. BTW I'm still planning to buy a bigger cutting mat. I don't think you need to tack ior glue the matting. But If you're planning to just get a double sided tape. I also use the double side tape for painting small parts and duplicating parts in plastic sheets.

I don't glue or tack my cutting mat to the table. I use it to pivot the model around instead of handling the model itself & turning it to the side which you want to work on.

Believe it or not, bihira lang ako gumamit ng cutting mat. I have a green one about twice the size of a mousepad. I still rely on newspaper para painting afterwards.

My table is clean only on the first friday of the month. The rest of the time it's a mess.

In my case, I don't need to for the moment. Until I can have my own workplace built, I'm building in our gazebo.
