Finally, the WWII memorial in Washington DC is going to open to the public today.

It is a darn shame that it took Tom Hanks and 60 years to get this done. So many of the men it was built to honor never got to see it completed...
Good that it is finished, though.

About time! I may be going back to DC this summer, it would definately be at the top of my list for things to see.
