How to make railroad?

Hey, I've got this nice idea for a dio, but I don't know how to make rails for 1:35 scale. Any ideas?

I scratch built rail once. I took Plastruct I-beam and glue an additional strip on top of it along the length. Then I sanded the radius on top. It did not have the exact same cross section as a piece of rail but it looked pretty good. Make ties out of bass or balsa wood and the rail retainers out of plastic card stock and you are in business.
I think VLS make sections of track complete with roadbed out of resin if you want buy them.

You can easily scratchbuild it using Evergreen plasticard strips, channel, ecc...

Dragon also makes railway and rail bed....very nice. About $12-13 USD. Try Great Models website or ebay

I agree with Keenan, Plastruct beam would be the best and cheapest way to go.

Evergreen and Plastruct make railroad tracks. Other source is a hobby shop that carries railroad accessories.
